Electronic Aids are equipment that can be used to assist work in working on electronic designs or designs. In designing an electronic circuit or making electronic devices. We can't just use our hands. We definitely need these tools to simplify and speed up our work. So, what are the tools?
Below are some tools that we can use, namely:
1. Chainsaw
Saws can be used as an electronic tool to cut things, for example PCBs and others. There are several types of saws according to their purpose. There are saws for chopping wood, there are for cutting iron, there are for cutting paralon and others. You can look for special saws that can help you in making electronic devices.
2. Soldering
In designing an electronic circuit, we cannot be separated from the name solder. Solder is also an electronic tool that can be used to install or connect electronic components to PCD, or between cables and cables. There are two forms of solder, some are in the form of a pencil and some are in the form of a gun. Please use as needed. Pencil form soldering is usually used for continuous work, whereas gun-shaped soldering is usually used for discontinuous work.
3. Tin Patri
Apart from soldering, the use of an inseparable electronic aid is tin solder. Tin solder is a material or metal that can melt when heated, which can be used to glue electronic components with other components and is a conductor, namely as a conductor of electricity.
There are various types of tin that are sold in electronics stores. Usually the solder tin for soldering electronic components is shaped like a wire. A good solder for electronic components is a type of alloy consisting of silver and tin. The alloy is a long reed containing an organic material in the form of a paste called rosin.
4. Tin Vacuum
In electronic component brazing work, a tin vacuum is sometimes required when it is wrong to do a soldering or incomplete soldering and it needs to be corrected. The tin that has been attached is heated again by the solder and the tin is sucked up by a tin vacuum. Unless there is no lead suction, this can be done by means of capillaries, for example with fine gauze or with the ends of fibrous wires.
5. Screwdriver
Screwdriver as an electronic tool used to tighten or loosen bolts. Screwdrivers also have several types. The types commonly used in Indonesia are the Phillips (+) and Slotted (-) models. There are also other types of screwdrivers that are widely used in other countries including Torx (hexagon star), Hex (hexagon), Robertson (box).
6. Drill
Drills are used to make holes in the chassis or PCB. Each drill has various sizes of drill bits. If we want to make holes, we have to choose the appropriate drill bit, so that it fits what we want. There are two types of drills, namely hand drills and electric drills.
7. Pliers
The last other tool is pliers. Pliers can be divided into three types according to their function, namely:
- Pliers are large, used to rotate or hold the nuts of the bolts that we are hardening.
- Cutting pliers, used to cut or strip cables, or can also be used to cut legs of electronic components that are too long.
- Tapered pliers are used to bend the legs of electronic components that we attach to the chassis or PCB.
That is a brief description of electronic aids. I hope this helps. You can also read other articles such as Transmission media and the like here.
